THE LOST CHILDREN - PART 2

In the original images the child is often seen within a crush of humanity or as a minor element in a glut of bureaucratic devices…badges, numbers, seals, words, stamps, which label the child as inventory, not as a living soul.

In this series I have given each child the surname Weiss, my mother’s maiden name. I attempt to see each child.  I imagine documents with which a child might have been led to a place of safety, my wish for all children both then and now
